Sarah Hayley Orrantia

Sarah Hayley Orrantia (born February 21 in 1994) is an American actress, singer and songwriter. Her most well-known character is the role of Erica Goldberg in the ABC comedy series The Goldbergs. She was a member Lakoda Rayne (a country-pop girl group created by Paula Abdul in the first season of The X Factor). Her first single, "Love Sick", was released in 2015. The debut EP, The Way Out, was released in May, 2019. Orrantia began singing at the age of nine years old, and began professional training at the age of twelve. When she was 13, she wrote her first song. At age 13, she recorded her first cover track. Also, she began writing songs with Jamie Houston, a songwriter who is best known for composing hits for the Disney High School Musical movies. Orrantia was a contestant in summer 2011 to be a participant of the initial season of The X Factor. Orrantia got the audition through YouTube and received four "yes" votes from the judges during the live auditions in Seattle. She auditioned initially as an individual artist, but during Hollywood Week, she was joined by three female vocalists who formed an ensemble. They were eliminated at the end of week five in the live performances.
