Catherine Anne

 Catherine Anne O'Hara OOC (born March 4 1954) is a Canadian-American actor and comedian. O'Hara has received a variety of awards including the Genie Award, a Golden Globe Award and two Screen Actors Guild Awards. She also received two Primetime Emmy Awards and six Canadian Screen Awards. She was appointed an Officer of the Order of Canada in 2018 and was honored with the Governor General's Performing Arts Lifetime Artistic Achievement Award in 2020. O'Hara was first recognized for her acting in the year 1974 when she was a member of The Second City in Toronto. She was part of the main cast in the sitcom Coming Up Rosie (1975-1978) together with John Candy and Dan Aykroyd. In the following year, O'Hara and Candy began working on the sketch comedy program Second City Television (1976-1984) and she earned critical acclaim for both her performance as a comedic actress and as a writer, winning a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Writing for the Variety Series in 1981. In 2022, O'Hara was added to the newly formed Second City artistic advisory board led by Stephen Colbert, along with Steve Carell, Dwayne Colbert, Tina Fey, Keegan-Michael Key, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Jane Lynch, Tim Meadows, Peter Murrieta, Suzy Nakamura Sam Richardson, Jeff Richmond, Jason Sudeikis, and Robin Thede.
